visitor info & agreement

Visitor Agreement:  The appearance of all images on this website is affected by the specs of the monitor/screen that you are using and its settings (e.g., brightness, viewing and image enhancement modes, etc.). Thus, the brightness, contrast, color, and sharpness of images being viewed may not be the same as the actual image. By viewing or ordering from any other gallery on this site, you acknowledge that you understand this and that any images ordered may not appear as you viewed them on screen. There are NO REFUNDS on photo purchases with the exception of damaged prints and products.  Please contact us with any questions or concerns before placing your order.

General Online Viewing

For the best viewing experience, it is recommended that you view on a computer or tablet. Images are very small when viewed on a phone.

Retouching

Except where retouching has been requested by the client or through special arrangement, photos have not been retouched (with the exception of large blemishes).

Copyright

The copyright for all images, whether purchased in print or digital format, remains with the photographer.

4x6 Print Bundles

You can include in any bundle multiples of any image.

Digital Files

Digital files for portraiture and photoshoot events are offered in a variety of sizes:

Noted Size / Pixels on Longest Side / Suitable for prints up to (if little or no cropping)++

Small / 1,000 / 5x7

Medium / 1,500 / 8x10, 8x12

Large / 2,000 / 11x14

++ This can vary with the printing company/service.

Digital files for theatre and stage performances are usually only offered at one size, 1,800 pixels on the longest side (suitable for prints up to 12” on the longest side if no cropping).

Printing of Digital Files

Please note that, especially with chain store consumer print services (e.g., Walmart, Walgreens, etc.), the quality of printed photos can vary significantly from printer to printer and from instance to instance.  Reasons include, but are not limited to, calibration of equipment used and the experience of the staff handling the printing.  We strongly recommend printing through us or through a professional print service (e.g., Mpix Pro, Miller’s Professional Imaging).

And, when printing through any service, opt for no color or other adjustments!  Such adjustments can have very negative results.

Quality (brightness, color, etc.) - Theatre & Stage Performances

This applies to candid shots captured during events.

Brightness and color correspond to the ambient lighting (no flash or other supplemental lighting) as it was at the time of each shot.  Lighting (both color and brightness) can vary dramatically from scene to scene, moment to moment.

Sharpness of images is affected by low lighting (the lower the lighting, the more images are affected) and movement.  Some images may have some "grain" (digital noise) or “softness” (due to noise reduction to remove excessive digital noise).

I include photos that capture the essence of a performance that are, at minimum, acceptably in focus/crisp for the circumstances in which they were photographed.

Size Matters

4x6 prints are often smaller than what you are previewing on a computer screen! Thus, if you are ordering photos of a large group or of a scene that is wide, you are not going to be able to see details in faces.

Refunds & Damaged Prints/Products

No refunds.  You are ordering images “as is.”

If prints or products you receive are damaged, we will replace them.  Please contact the photographer to make arrangements for any damaged items.
